Parachute Museum Information
All: Exciting time ahead! We have signed off on the last of the exhibit details and construction has begun. Installation will begin after Labor Day and be finished in two weeks or less. We are still working on the "Flip-books" (notebooks) and the touch-screen videos. These will be last minute additions. Lots of hands-on displays.
Saturday October 2nd: Aviation Trail Visitor's Center and the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center
Tentative plans - will update as more information becomes available.
1:30 p.m. Plaza activities by the National Park Service Rangers: building parachutes, parachute games, etc.
2:00 p.m. Program:
Candy-bomber style parachute drop from roof of the ATI building
Possible 1910 Wright B Flyer fly-over
2:15 p.m. est. Ribbon cutting at entrance to Museum
refreshments in the Conference Room
5:00 p.m. Building closes
