Purchase Ringing in the Holidays Tickets

For nearly a quarter-century, the magic of the holiday season has come alive at Carillon Historical Park's annual Ringing in the Holidays celebration.

Held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the 24th annual Ringing in the Holidays will feature swinging holiday music from Todd the Fox, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, specialty cocktails, and an open bar—all included with the purchase of a ticket.

The Winter Getaway Raffle returns with a first prize Chicago Experience for Two, featuring two round-trip United Airline flights, a Frontera Grill certificate, and a one night stay at the luxurious Thompson Chicago Hotel. The second prize Cincinnati Getaway includes two tickets to a live theatre performance, a local restaurant certificate, and a one night boutique hotel stay.

During the silent auction, guests can do some early holiday shopping, and place their bid on Silent Auction #1—a unique opportunity to kickoff A Carillon Christmas on November 28 by flipping the switch on the iconic Carillon Tree of Light.

And of course, Dayton's Most Delightful Dessert Contest—a Ringing in the Holidays favorite—features decadent delights from The Cakery, Nanette's, and four other local confectioners. Critic's Choice, People's Choice, and Best Presentation awards are all up for grabs; this means entrants put their best dessert forward, making for a truly savory experience.

This year we will be celebrating the new Brethen Tower and restored Callahan Clock with a Christmas countdown inspired by the 12 Days of Christmas. Limited edition Callahan Clock commemorative ornaments, designed by local artist Laura Carter, will also be available.

Ringing in the Holidays supports Dayton History in its mission to inspire generations by connecting them with the unique people, places, and events that changed Dayton and the world. Not only do proceeds support a great cause, this festive event is also the perfect way to, well, ring in the holidays.
