June & July Events, 2024:

• June 6th, 2024- We are participating in the Anniversary of D-Day on June 6th at the National Museum of the USAF. BCW crew will be attending as WWII reenactors and we will have several artifacts from our museum on display. Museum hours are 10-5. 


The Ohio Challenge Balloon Fest on July 19th and 20th at Smith Park in Middletown. We will be selling aircraft rides* both days, starting at 5pm and 4pm respectively, until dusk. (See pricing below).

The Ohio Challenge offers hot air ballons, an evening balloon glow, tethered balloon rides, carnival, car show, aircraft rides, food trucks, fireworks and more! 

*Aircraft flights are weather permitting


Thunderfest Car Show in Middletown on July 27th from 11-4. Cruise In - Family Friendly Event 

Cars, trucks, motorcycles (soft colors only), rat rods, dragsters, exotics, classics, even boats! BCW will be in attendance at the event with a static display, and will be doing a flyover at noon in our historic WWII aircraft. We are selling raffle tickets to win a flight in our 1943 PT-19, find us at the event to get your tickets!



General news- Betty Stagg-Turner Memorial Scholarship. We are VERY close to meeting our $10,000.00 goal to make the scholarship a permanent endowment with the Middletown Community Foundation.
