Featuring a special performance by the Centerville Community Band

DAYTON, OHIO—Heritage Day returns this Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Carillon Historical Park. While the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra typically closes out Heritage Day, this year, they'll be performing at the 2025 NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

But that doesn't mean music won't take center stage at Heritage Day.

Alan Bowman, the Park's talented new carillonneur, plays a special Memorial Day concert at 1:00 p.m. The Carillon Park Concert Band—a summer ensemble of gifted area high school musicians—takes the stage at 2:00 p.m. And at 3:00 p.m., the Centerville Community Band closes the evening with a special performance, "Remember: A Tribute to Those Who Have Served Our Great Nation."

In addition to the Park's collection of permanent exhibits and buildings, Heritage Day features historical activities, costumed interpreters, and more. Signaling the unofficial onset of summer in the Miami Valley, Heritage Days promises a Memorial Day Weekend to remember.
