WACO’S FAMILY DAY: AVIATION OF THE PAST AND PRESENT
Looking for a safe, fun family activity while staying local? Look no further. WACO Air Museum is hosting a Family Day July 12th from 10 am to 2 pm and includes free admission for the entire family during these hours. Our youngest aviators can enjoy WACO pedal planes while older family members learn more about the Weaver Aircraft Company (WACO)…. One of Troy’s hidden gems. Complete your museum visit by experiencing the Golden Age of Aviation in an open cockpit biplane. Focusing on present day aviation, Sinclair’s National UAS Certification and Training Center will be offering presentations on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) including essential elements of UAS, how UAS is impacting various industries, safe ways to fly, different types of UAS, and examples Sinclair’s UAS projects. Try your hand at flying one of these UAS on a simulator following the brief presentation, offered hourly.
