WACO Historical Society Aviation Lecture Series WACO Air Museum, 1865 South County Road 25A, Troy, Ohio 45373 Thursday, March 17, 2022. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., lecture starts at 7 p.m. “Flying Cross Country Without an Engine” Glider pilot, Richard Curry, will virtually take you on a glider flight with flight simulation on March 17th, at 7 pm, at WACO Air Museum. Spend your St. Patty’s Day taking off from Waco Field while Curry demonstrates a flight in excellent soaring conditions and without worry of the Class C airspace of the Dayton Airport. He will also show an animated simulation of the record flight that occurred last summer from Marion, Ohio , south of Indianapolis, back to Marion, north to Sandusky, south to Delaware, and back to Marion. Come and explore the idea of seeing Ohio from the air WITHOUT an engine!

This aviation lecture is free and open to the public; donations to WACO Air Museum are gladly accepted. Lectures are held in the Willis Wing of the WACO Air Museum at 1865 South County Road 25A in Troy, OH. Doors open at 6:30 and the program begins at 7 p.m. Programs are scheduled to last one hour with questions to follow.
