Beginning with the compelling story of his father's service as a World War II pilot, this presentation traces Dr. Schumer's own path—from growing up inspired by aviation to earning his pilot's wings and ultimately pursuing a career in ophthalmology. Along the way, discover how the values of courage, precision, perseverance, and service unite the battlefield, the cockpit, and the operating room, where restoring vision through LASIK and cataract surgery changes lives every day.
