![]() In this talk, curator of the Harmon Museum's Mid-Century Modern Exhibit, Donna Summers, explores the Mid-Century Modern movement and collaborative genius of designer Russell Wright and his wife, Mary Einstein. Their philosophy of creating beautiful, functional, and accessible designs for everyday life shaped the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic beyond just furniture, but as a complete lifestyle. She will also discuss Wright's profound influence on the movement and his enduring legacy. |
COST: $25 for WCHS members / $30 for non-members.
(Includes lunch, lecture & museum admission)
Program without lunch $5 for members / $8 for non-members
Ticket sales close at midnight the Thursday night prior to the event. If you would like lunch, reservations MUST be made by this time. Tickets for the lecture ONLY option will be available up until the event or may be purchased at the door. There is a small fee associated with the sale of tickets online.

Topics vary but are always presented by a speaker fluent on the subject. Lectures last approximately one hour.
