Saturday, October 5, 2019 -

An event more than 100 years in the making, the inaugural Festival of Flight is a celebration of the innovative and world-changing aviation heritage of Dayton and the Miami Valley region. Representatives from the Aviation Trail Parachute Museum will be joining the live entertainment, fun aviation-related educational experiences from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday October 5 at 3640 Col. Glenn Highway, Fairborn, Ohio.

Join us on the grounds of the Wright State University Nutter Center for a day full of live entertainment and fun aviation-related educational experiences, and creative local innovations. Visitors may get food from some of the area's most popular food trucks, dance to favorite local bands, and bring the family to explore the Kids Zone and haunted trail. Sports fans will be able to cheer on a Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball team, Wright State's NCAA Division I volleyball, men's soccer, and the university's club football team.

Aviation Trail and the Parachute Museum will be raising parachutes and celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the first freefall. Try on a parachute (no jumping allowed). Watch the Fastrax Skydiving team jump at our booth. Plenty of thrills! Safe for all ages.
