On Wednesday, June 21, 2017, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base celebrates its "Bee City USA" designation with a "Pollinator Expo". The event will be held from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Wright Brothers Memorial at 2380 Memorial Road. Numerous organizations will be on site to highlight the work they do to protect pollinators and their habitats. Come out and enjoy lunch at this beautiful venue. Learn about the decline of pollinators, why pollinators are important, and how you can help.

The event is open to the public. There will be live demonstration hives, beekeepers with demos, and food trucks.

(Alternate date in case if inclement weather will be June 28 from 10 to 2).
