Private Pilot Ground School offered at WACO

Whether you are young or old, this is a great time to consider general aviation. With the newly FAA proposed expansion for the light sport pilot (MOSAIC) and a shortage of future pilots, all ages should consider accomplishing this dream. Perhaps you have always wanted to fly, but you don’t know where to begin. The dream of obtaining your pilot license is possible. Begin your flight journey at WACO—practically in your own backyard! WACO offers Flight Ground School; so, if you just can’t get your head out of the clouds, come and begin your journey with us.

A new session of ground school will begin October 11th and be taught on Wednesday nights at WACO Air Museum from 6:00- 9:00 p.m. for 11 sessions. Instructor, Corinne Barnes is a corporate pilot who flies out of Lunken Field in Cincinnati. She has served as adjunct faculty for Sinclair College and as a Private and Commercial Ground School instructor from 2018 to 2021.
