AirPower History Tour  |  July 14–15, 2025:

Get up close with two rare World War II aircraft when the AirPower History Tour, presented by the CAF B-29/B-24 Squadron, lands at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force this summer.

On display outside the museum Monday, July 14 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can view the iconic B-29 Superfortress “FIFI”—one of only two airworthy B-29s in the world—alongside the RC-45J “Big Oily Beast” (BOB), a multi-role military transport aircraft from the same era.

The aircraft are scheduled to arrive around noon on Monday, and depart at approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Visitors can view the aircraft up close, speak with crew members, and learn more about their history and restoration. Aircraft will be parked on the museum’s flightline at the end of Memorial

Park.Note: Aircraft availability and access are subject to change due to weather or maintenance.
