Aviation Trail, Inc. traditionally hosts a social event for all of its members on Aug. 19, the mutual birthdays of Orville and Katharine Wright, and also the date of National Aviation Day. The event this year will be a celebration at the Aviation Trail Visitor Center at 16 S. Williams Street. It will begin at 1:00 PM with a brief press conference (and a special announcement) followed by an ice cream social and tour of the facility.
